Welcome to the 2024 Port Royal Classic Information page.
The Port Royal Classic includes four classes: (A) Spinnaker, (B) Mariner/Non-Spinnaker, (C) Plastic Classic Spinnaker, (D) Plastic Classic Mariner/Non-Spinnaker. There will be two starts: (1) one for both Spinnakers (A and C classes) at 1300, and (2) one for both Mariner/Non-Spinnakers (B and D classes) at 1305. Registrants participating in one of the "classic" classes must have boats built 1999 or before and made of fiberglass.
We will have the Club open from 11:00 to noon if any skippers want to stop by and ask questions or grab a cup of coffee. Check-in will be on the water near the "S" mark from about noon to 1255.
We will also have the Club open following the regatta for appetizers and drinks, as well as our trophy ceremony.

May 18 Port Royal Classic Regatta
Ahoy Racers!
Please note the following items for this Saturday's regatta. Please note we have corrected Course 6 on the Course Guide (it is available on RMS system or on our website). The Committee boat will be on S-mark beginning around noon for on-the-water check-in (be sure to check-in prior to 12:55). The gate code for PRYC on race day will be 0518. We will have coffee and light snacks at the Club before the race (from 11:00-noon) and we will have refreshments and an award ceremony following the race.
